Authors are encouraged to ensure that research data supporting published findings are accessible, reliable, properly documented, and ethically managed whenever possible.
Data Availability Statement
Authors should include a Data Availability Statement within the manuscript describing:
- Where supporting research data can be accessed
- Repository name, DOI, accession number, or permanent link where applicable
- Whether the data are publicly available or available upon reasonable request
- Any ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality restrictions affecting data access
Acceptable Data Sharing Options
- Publicly accessible institutional or subject repositories
- Supplementary files provided with the published article
- Data available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request
- Restricted access where required by ethical, legal, or institutional obligations
The journal encourages the use of reliable repositories to support long-term preservation, accessibility, and verification of research data.
Author Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and authenticity of all research data
- Maintain original raw data and supporting records after publication
- Provide supporting data for editorial verification if requested
- Comply with applicable ethical standards, regulations, and institutional policies
Ethical and Confidential Data
Research involving human participants, clinical records, personal health information, or sensitive public health data must comply with ethical standards, privacy regulations, and informed consent requirements. Where data cannot be shared publicly, authors should clearly explain the limitations within the Data Availability Statement.
Editorial Oversight
The journal reserves the right to request clarification, supporting documentation, or access to underlying research data during editorial evaluation or post-publication review where necessary to maintain research integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing standards.
