DIGITAL ARCHIVING & PRESERVATION POLICY
Digital Archiving & Preservation Policy
Global Health Synapse is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content.
- Permanent Preservation:
All published articles are preserved permanently in digital format to ensure continued access, even in the event of journal discontinuation.
- Preservation Service:
The journal utilizes the LOCKSS / CLOCKSS / PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides distributed archiving through trusted preservation systems, ensuring content is securely stored and retrievable over time.
- DOI Permanence:
Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). DOI links are maintained permanently to ensure persistent access to published content, regardless of changes to the journal website or hosting platform.
This policy ensures that published research remains accessible, citable, and preserved for future scholarly use. In the event that the journal ceases publication, all archived content will remain accessible through the PKP Preservation Network.
