Author guidelines
Welcome to Global Health Synapse. The journal is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality, and peer-reviewed scholarly research in global health, public health, medicine, healthcare systems, epidemiology, and interdisciplinary health sciences.
Authors are encouraged to carefully review the following submission and publication guidelines before submitting manuscripts to the journal.
Editorial Policy
- The submitted work must be original and unpublished
- Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere
- Submission must remain exclusive during peer review
- All listed authors must approve the submitted manuscript
- All submissions may undergo plagiarism screening
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by a minimum of two independent reviewers.
- Reviewer selection is managed by the editorial board
- Authors may be requested to revise manuscripts
- Revised submissions should include responses to reviewer comments
- Editorial review may continue until final approval is achieved
Appeals and Complaints
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by contacting the editorial office. Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, whose decision will be considered final.
Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy
- No APCs are charged after manuscript acceptance
- No submission fee is charged
- Rejected manuscripts incur no publication fee
- Editorial decisions remain independent of payment status
- Institutional affiliations do not influence editorial evaluation
Authorship and Contributions
All listed authors must have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. Any authorship changes after submission require written consent from all authors.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research, interpretation, or publication of findings.

Ethics approval and informed consent statements are required for studies involving humans, patients, clinical data, or animals where applicable.
Ethical Standards
The journal follows the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to maintain high standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their published work. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
Post-Publication Corrections
Requests for corrections, updates, expressions of concern, or retractions are evaluated according to the journal’s editorial policies and COPE guidelines.
