INSTRUCTION TO AUTHORS
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Instruction to Authors
Welcome to Global Health Synapse. We are dedicated to publishing original and high-quality research that contributes meaningfully across a wide range of academic fields. This guide provides an overview of our editorial principles, submission process, and author responsibilities. Contributors are encouraged to review it carefully before submitting their manuscripts.
Editorial Policy
Authors submitting manuscripts are expected to ensure that:
- The work is original and has not been submitted to or published in any other journal.
- The manuscript is not currently under review elsewhere.
- The submission remains exclusive to the journal throughout the review process.
Only one corresponding author should be appointed to handle all communication with the editorial office. Every submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment to evaluate its relevance, quality, and adherence to journal guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be declined at this stage without being sent for external peer review.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent for double-blind peer review to at least two qualified experts in the relevant field. Authors may suggest potential reviewers, provided they are not affiliated with the same institution; however, the final selection of reviewers is at the discretion of the editorial board.
Based on the reviewers’ comments, authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts. In such cases, authors are required to submit:
- A clear, point-by-point response to each reviewer comment
- A revised version of the manuscript with all changes clearly highlighted
Revised manuscripts must be submitted either through the journal’s official submission system or sent directly by email to editor@tresearch.ee. This review and revision process may be repeated until the editorial team determines that the manuscript is suitable for publication.
Appeals and Complaints
Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision may contact the editorial office by email. Appeals should clearly explain the reason for the request. All appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, and the final decision on the appeal rests with them.
Authorship and Contributions
All authors listed on a manuscript should have made a meaningful contribution to the research and/or the writing of the paper. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that all listed contributors have agreed to be included and have participated in the work.
The order of authors must be agreed upon by all contributors before submission. Any changes to authorship after submission can only be made with written consent from all authors involved.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence their work. Any requests related to disputes, changes, or withdrawal after submission will be handled only through the corresponding author. Decisions communicated by the corresponding author will be treated as final and binding, even in the event of disagreement among co-authors.
Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts should be submitted through our online submission portal.
If you experience any technical issues during submission, please contact us at editor@tresearch.ee for assistance.
